log5(n+2) - log5(n+1) as you plug in n, you will find that a lot of them cancel out (for example log5(3+2) - log5(4+1) = 0 the only ones that don’t cancel are - log5(2) (plug in n=1, there is no addition possible to cancel it) as the minimum for n+2 is 3 and log5(50) (plug in 48 and get 50, there is no negative that can cancel it as the max of n+1 = 49 you find you get log5(50)-log5(2) = log5(50/2) = log5(25). 5^2 = 25 therefore log5(25) = 2 = answer try writing the start and end out and recognise that a lot of the values cancel out, and you’re only left w 50 and -2
