These gauge clusters are known to be very problematic. Not normally the speed sensor. Mine does that then once I hit 45-60 kph it starts to work, then power steering comes back but the hicas light stays on. There’s a lot of writes up when you google search it :)
If you have N/A it should be pink colour or green if you have Turbo ,it has nothing to do with your cluster at the moment,because your transmission has been changed
Get under the car and locate the speed sensor, make sure the wires look ok. Remove it and check the pinion. That's all pretty easy to do and removes some options for things that can be wrong
Most likely a bad solder joint on the cluster. The cluster feeds the speed signal on to the ECU and power steering system.
Does your power steering going out and hicas light come on when the speedo doesn’t work?
