hello. i want to join a ranked GIM team but this team has 5 members. can they kick someone, can i make an account and join them without them losing rank?
My friend and I want to do some easy entry mode raiding at tombs to start finally feeling like we can dip our toes in end game stuff. YouTube is replete with guides on guides but is there one that others found especially helpful for those of us in the blessed d hide tier of gear? Appreciate the suggestions!
I think I found a glitch in the song of the elves quest, or I’m stupid, but early on in the quest at the part where you use your pickax on the wall the game doesn’t let me crawl through and only tells me “nothing interesting happens.”
Im actually stuck and no one has been able to help me. There’s no guide out there that talks about this happening.
Assuming the other person is right, a way to avoid this going forwards is to pull up a video quest guide and do everything they do from a relevant point onwards, *even if you are totally sure you already did it or if it doesn't look relevant*
Yes the other guy was right. And I was following slayermusiq’s guide AND had quest helper pulled up which was telling me to use pickaxe on the wall, so it really tripped me up lol. Once I went back to lletya the quest helper was like “oh yeah, you actually need to talk to this elf first” smh
Its not a glitch, happened to me aswell. You have to talk to one of the npcs in Lletya, can't remember who. After the conversation you'll be able to climb through. Good luck with the quest!
Just stick to blowpipe for slayer unless high level target.
Venator is meh in general and somewhat okay in multicast areas like dags, kalphite, or lizardmen. Maybe bloodvelds under meyerditch.
In most situations and bosses bowfa crystal by far, venator is not considered a good dps bow it's mainly used for niche situations due to its passive effect.
How does the new wildy boss fees work in the singles area? I paid 50k gp but couldn’t peek and someone was killing the new easier spider boss. So I left and CC’d and went in again. Do I have to pay 50k each time?
You pay a one time fee of 50k gp to be able to use the caves, this fee will last until you die in the wilderness to a player.
Each kill you get on a wilderness boss will give you a discount towards your next fee in case you die, each kill on any the 3 bosses will reduce 10k from the next fee, and after 5 kills your next entry will be free until you die again.
The peek option has nothing to de with fees, it's something you unlock once you get 20 kc on the specific cave's boss.
Ohhh you only lose the money if you get pk'd? Thank you! I figured I was losing money with every time I checked. Maybe I'll try to get some kc then, knowing I'm not actually punished by hopping to find a free world.
For slayer is my only viable option chins or canon? I feel like I keep 1:1 monsters but it gets me 8~9k an hour which feels slow compared to other skills. I’m currently 67 and have heard gargoyles are really good and the bosses look fun but it’s hard to motivate when progress is this slow.
Gargs are decent for low effort profit, not xp. Cannon/burst task are where you get your xp. Dagannoths, kalphite (meh imo), dust devils, nechreyals, abyssal demons. If you don't block greater demons you can cannon them in chasm of fire, but it's still not great xp compared to the rest.
E: oh and bloodvelds! In the meiyerditch caves. Maybe smoke devils, idk I haven't gotten that high lol. I think you can cannon lizardmen too.
Slayer is a pretty slow skill, but there are some great tasks that are cannonable or [burstable](https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Ice_Burst) which increase the xp/h significantly.
Examples for cannonable tasks: Dagganoths, Kalphites
Examples for burstable tasks: Nechryaels, Dust devils
When you get tasks like these make sure you extend them by wearing a [bracelet of slaughter](https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Bracelet_of_slaughter), and also extend them via the [slayer master rewards](https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Slayer_Rewards#Extend).
So my friend got hacked yesterday, didn’t have a bank pin and didn’t have 2fa. They said they used their password on a lot of other sites, but I’m assuming they got phished somehow. I know starting a new account is probably safer, but that account has like 5 months of membership on it left. If they put a bank pin, 2fa on the account, 2fa on the email, would it be safe to use it, or is it likely to be hacked again? Assuming they don’t fall for another phishing attempt.
Should be safe. I was hacked on my main a couple of years ago because I was complacent like your friend. Ever since adding what you mentioned, nothing has happened to it and nothing likely will.
Nope. They just got hacked and had the account repurposed for botting until the ban. So they'd just need to get the account back and set up all the security on it and it should be safe.
Making sure I'm understanding the wiki right before I spend money on house upgrades. Teleports in the Portal Nexus I can't boost for, but it looks like teleports in a Portal Chamber I can boost. Using that I'd be able to set a portal to Barrows for (hopefully) easier trips. Is that right?
You're correct. Nexus doesn't allow boosts, portal chamber does. If you can boost up to the required magic level then you can set up a portal chamber portal.
Should I buy guthans for more afk slayer or just keep using ppots? 70s combat skills and 45 slayer
Edit:have 75 prayer, just to be clear I'm looking for the most afk, not low intensity or cheapest but literally click, walk away and come back in 8-10 mins
Blood fury > Samguenesti staff > Guthans
For healing gear.
I'd recommend blood fury a lot but it is very expensive to use.
Your best bet is just determining which monsters you can tank and use food for, and which ones you have to pray against
I need a new strength weapon and I'm interested in the Voidwaker solely because of the fact that I got a Korasi's sword back in the day. I'm at 80 Att/Str right now - I've trained using an obby set in NMZ pretty much.
I'm less concerned about the special attack and how good it is as a general weapon. Did some research and it looks like stats wise it slots right between the Bludgeon and Blessed Sara Sword (assuming I'm using a dragon defender).
What are some advantages of the Voidwaker then vs the Blessed Sara Sword?
The main advantage is, of course, the special. The other advantage is that it is a high tier weapon for stabbing as well as slashing, so it's more versatile for both slayer and bossing situations.
Nonetheless, with the Voidwaker price as high as it is, blessed sara sword is a much better choice to train strength. You can buy a lot of more useful upgrades for training, skilling xp, and pvm for what you'd spend on a voidwaker
I'm doing some GoTR on mobile and was wondering if there's an easier way to empty pouches? Filling is one click, but to empty I'm needing to hold and click empty individually. Cheers!
If you cast a successful Mark of Darkness on an enemy, do your chances of holding them in place with an Undead Grasp go from 50% to 100% (guaranteed) ?
I’ve also heard that despite Undead Grasp only lasting 2.4 seconds, it can sometimes still “glitch out” the Small Muttadile so that it no longer wants to walk towards the Meat Tree afterward. Is that true ?
Just wanted to let people know, the accursed scepter is the biggest wilderness upgrade I’ve seen in a long time. It absolutely shreds scorpia to the point that I often get 15-20 second kills and just hit through the healers. I also never miss freeze and freezes hit up to 52 with my gear. Also, when trying to escape pkers at scorpia’s cave, now I just left the cave, froze the pkers in my full black d’hide, ran away, and logged out. This weapon is absolutely insane and it’s like 15 mil.
The wiki says this about extended super antifire potion:
https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Extended_super_antifire#4_dose
but then there is also this table:
https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Dragonfire
I'm trying to figure out what potion to use for vorkath. I will be praying mage, fighting range and have a ward.
The table says I am good with super antifire, no damage, but the wiki says extended super antifire "However, the potion's effects will not work on Galvek's attacks, nor will it work on the King Black Dragon's poisonous/shocking/freezing dragonbreath. It will also block Vorkath's attacks only partially. " I thought the extended would be the same, just longer time?
They're both correct, the super antifire description is for when it's being used by itself, and yes it won't protect you much against the big boys. But when you combine it with your other factors as seen in the table, you'll take 0 damage.
Is there a tool/simulator to help prep for the Jad healers?
I have no issues with the Jad prayer flicking but as soon as the healers spawn I get distracted because I'm taking melee damage and having to focus on lining them up.
I've read every guide and understand I need to lure them and perform one action per prayer etc but taking 1 hr only to fail each time is exhausting.
I think you can go onto quest speedrunning worlds which let you into mor ul rek, which has the jad challenges you can practice? Not 100% sure though, I just think I remember seeing it suggested before.
Tagging healers doesn't need to be super fast and efficient. Make sure you're high hp before you bring him below half. Then tag each healer and don't worry about the melee damage until all of them are tagged. They won't kill you in the time it takes you to tag all the healers.
Once they're all tagged, then you can move north/ south to make sure only one is hitting you, or hide behind a wall to kill them one at a time, or run through jad to get them stuck on the other side.
if i finish the hard tier CAs, is the points i get refunded for un-imbuing my rings at NMZ 80% of the new 50% imbue cost or 80% of the original cost?
And if i don't un-imbue BEFORE finishing the hard tier but rather AFTER finishing, i will LOSE points rather than gain FREE points?
Example:
Spent 650k to imbue berserker -> um-imbue and get refunded 520k -> finish hard CA then re-imbue for 325k. Profit 195k
Spent 650k -> finish hard CA -> uminbie and get refunded 260k = LOSS of more points than if i um-imbue before finishing hards?
is that how it works?
Not necessary. I'm pretty sure it's trunksted on my mobile settings because I can't see shit on the floor pretty often. I did a party room event once and it was pretty impossible to see things on the other side of the room.
On PC you're probably right.
What's a relatively cost-efficient and AFK way to get up range from 70-80? I'm a low/mid stage account so don't have a lot of money to throw at this. What wep/arrows should I be using?
Adamant darts on sand/swamp/ammonite crabs are pretty cost effective, but you can downgrade to mith darts if you're *really* on a budget. Don't forget to use an accumulator
Can also do nmz or pest control if you rather go that route
If I'm using zammy hasta to solo TOA do i really need to bring the keris partisan as a switch for kephri?
I'm just doing some easy mode solos to try and relearn the raid and then eventually trying normal mode so I'll need to know both for easy and normal if it makes a big difference. No crystals for my partisan yet either.
Ok cool i think im just gonna be doing easy's for awhile anyways so hopefully I'll get a crystal by the time i start attempting normal mode, thanks man
NMZ is the worst for imbuing. Spend those points on imbuing a salve amulet for the diary and then scrolls of redirection for farm runs.
Best is cheesing the duel arena tourments and soul wars is also good.
I did the pvp arena. A loss still gives points, and you don't need to lose that many times to get the imbues. If you happen to get a win, you get a little boost, but, I only won like 2 or 3 times when I got my slayer helm imbune and it was way quicker than any other method.
Yeah it's so poorly balanced. It's like 12 points for a loss and 16 for a win or something stupid like that. An abandon before the countdown is even over counts as a loss, so you can just leave. You only need 200 for an imbue.
Should be like 4 for a loss if they actually want people to interact rather than just insta quit.
About to start my smithing grind.
Just did a boat load of MLM and my banked ores are looking nice!
About to get myself a coal bag and head over to Blast Furnace to make a zillion bars, craft armor, then recycle that armor at Giants Foundry - very excited to check out that mini game. Never done GF or used the BF before.
But here's my question, and it's about efficient use of coal (iron, btw): 2 coal for a steel bar and 4 for mith. I don't believe mith gives me double the xp that steel does - is it better to make as much steel bars as I can and not worry about mith, only draw back being its slower?
My bank:
https://imgur.com/f9PydAy.jpg
Goal is to hit 70 from 60 and I don't think I'll have an issue there. Ideally want to get it higher as I have a master clue on step 6 that requires me to make a Rune Dart and I want to get that if possible. Even if it means heading back to the mines for another long while.
Don't craft armor for giants foundry. You lose 1 bar per crafted armor and its kind of a pain to figure out the 50 50 or 70 30 alloy split. You might as well HA armor while running agility.
Don't craft the armor, just bring your bars straight to giants foundry. You'll lose a significant amount of xp if you go bars -> armor -> foundry instead of bars -> foundry, not including all the time spent making that armor too.
@ your question, blast furnace halves the amount of coal needed so it's 2 coal per 1 mith, 1 coal per steel. I'd make all your mith bars then make some steel, and with a little cash you can buy the rest of the coal at blast furnace. Then make steel/mith alloy swords at foundry
>You'll lose a significant amount of xp if you go bars -> armor -> foundry instead of bars -> foundry
Is this true? I thought I was getting more xp per bar by crafting stuff first.
It is true.
If you're using mith + addy (14/14), that's 700 + 875 = 1,575xp for crafting items at an anvil. You'll need at least 3 more bars of each to meet these requirements, which loses you more xp at Foundry. So 17+17 total.
With the best moulds, you'll get around 16.9k xp on average of each 14/14 bar sword. This makes every bar worth 603xp. If you were to do 17/17 (after crafting items), then it's 497xp. 18% less xp. There's also the time loss. Spending time making bars into items to smelt into swords at Foundry would considerably lower your effective xp/hr. Plus needing to gather more bars to make the swords.
If you're getting 100-200+ of an unextended task it's probably low def.
If you're getting 5-50 it's probably high def.
I'm sure there's outliers but that's probably the easiest "rule" to remember if you don't want to look up stats.
Lots of ‘slayer’ monsters are low defense on purpose. Generally a tent whip or rapier will beat the fang. Things like metal dragons are very high defense. Often, bosses are high defense. If they dont have a lot of health, die quick, and you don’t hit a lot of 0’s, use a whip. If you hit a lot of 0’s, use a fang. Or check the wiki for recommended gear.
Depends on a bunch of factors including your levels and other gear. Easiest way is to plug it into a DPS calculator (there are a few online, from spreadsheets to actual online applets, and even a runelite plugin)
Or you can just use your best judgement and send it. Doubt it'd add up to more than a couple minutes per task
Vet’ion isn’t much harder than Calvarion. Obviously he’s in multi though but I’ve solo’d both of those and never had a pker crash me at vetion.
The problem with Vet’ion was getting away for me because you’d run into groups in the escape caves or the multi zone above ground.
It is the weekend now though so both might be packed.
Lol yeah don’t bring much risk. I only brought about 350k and make sure skill protect is on if you don’t want to skull.
Killing Vet’ion in multi was a lot more chill for me than the solo version. Not a single pker until I had to leave lol. Might’ve just been lucky but idk. Seems a lot of the solo pkers are hanging out at the solo bosses for now.
Farming/birdhouse alternatives?
Hi guys, I am looking for farming/birdhouse alternatives, to train a skill or hunt a pet.
Since I am not able to play for long periods of time, it is hard to start slayer tasks, or grind a skill. I am able to log in a few times during the day via mobile. I am looking for like hourly/daily tasks, bosses or events, to train a skill or hunt a pet.
Since I don’t need money, xp is the most important for me. I already grinded out 99 farming and I am on my for 99 hunting.
Please let me know your ideas or tips! Cheers
A few thoughts for dailies / 'burstable' xp:
-hespori
-shayzien contracts
-stealing artifacts
-bursting/chinning and just stay set up when you have to log so when you log back in you can get right back to it
-skilling bosses
Hope these ideas help!
~~I've been doing farming lately. Herb runs can be >done every 80 minutes, tree runs every few jours depends on tree), fruit trees every 16 hours. Herbs are a good money maker, trees are great xp. Tree runs and herb runs take between 5-15 minutes depending on locations and effiency~~
Edit: disregard, apparently can't read. Just saw birdhouse
I am confused by your initial wording as well. Are you looking for interim tasks that gain XP every few hours, or repetitive training methods that are consistent XP in a short burst of time?
What's up with mods approving my post then removing it once it started gaining some traction? Tried reaching out already to ask but no response.
You can check my account to see what the post was.
[I also posted everything on my account so it can't be removed](https://www.reddit.com/r/u_FancyJesse/comments/10mv6ji/osrs_2100_total_acc_rwt_minor_appeal_denied_after)
It's a story of my appeal process and how jagex's system is deeply flawed.
I'm gonna post the same on their forums when the ban is lifted so when people Google they can find my experience and know they're not alone.
Removing the posts is censorship. Let the community decide what gets noticed or not. That's why we have upvoted and downvotes.
While we’re on the subject — does anyone have a tile markers export of all the single/multi lines in the wilderness? I know Woox was personally marking it tile by tile at one point, but I’ve never found the export.
There's an addon that has a bunch marked already.
There's infernal addon that marks Cox, and there's a separate addon that has most of the other common bosses but I can't remember the name ATM. I think it's like "marker hub" or "tile hub" but it'll probably be easier for you to search the plugin hub than wait for me to get off work and check the name.
I started playing again two weeks back after a 15 year hiatus. I have been diligently AFK-sand-crabbing my combat stats. I am currently planning a Zerker build, and I'm eager to PvP. However, I am also interested in all the new PvM content.
Suppose I get to 60 attack, 99 strength/range/mage, 45 defense, 52 prayer. How hard will the near-highest levels of raid content be (it doesn't have to be the highest)? I don't imagine I'll become a particularly skilled player who is able to switch their gear and prayers on a moment's notice, although I think I'll be reasonably competent. Will my low defense and prayer preclude me from most PvM? If I wanted to remain competitive in both PvM and PvP, should I go to 70 or 75 attack? How about going to 70 prayer or 74 prayer?
Basically, I'm just looking for advice on how to build an account that both PvMs and PvPs. If I will need the 70 or 75 attack, I may as well get that before 90+ strength to get access to the whip for training.
Hey I'm also in similar situation, coming back to the game and want to do PVP and PVM. I'm currently also working on a zerker, so far the game feels pretty accessible with 45 def atleast in terms of questing, and simple bosses I tried like Barrows/Hespori/Rex. Though I'm not far enough yet to answer your question in regards to raids. In regards to 70/75 atk the whip can't train strengh (only atk/def/controlled), though I think you could use abyssal dagger then.
If you want you can PM me your name so we can add each other. It would be nice to share experiences and have a PVP/PVM buddy to test things out with.
Personally, I would make a main before making a low defense pvp build. It will restrict the content you will have access to and make learning the mechanic more difficult. Just play LMS until you get your stats up enough to pvp other maxed mains.
If you’re planning on doing any zulrah: Suffering>Anguish>bracelet>torture
If you’re not doing zulrah:
Anguish>bracelet>torture>suffering
Torture is better if you melee alot, but +2 str bonus doesnt mean that much. Still, better than tassets or primordials.
Ring is best if you're an iron, in theory. Useful for zulrah, Nex, raids when you don't have lightbarer. Def stats somewhat important for irons.
Torture or anguish for mains. You just use these the most.
Mage gloves are probably the best for end game players as they greatly improve sang/shadow DPS but in the mid game mage isn't really useful.
Why do y’all hate “ezscape” despite the fact that everyone loves Leagues & FSW, and heavily rely on third-party programs that make mid to end-game content accessible? Like it makes it easier to do the content, then itself is ezscape.
It’s hypocritical and comes across as a community trend for the sake of it.
> Why do y’all
When many people say this and many people say that and these two things contradict - its a temptation to say they are hypocritical, or just idiots. But actually.... they are different people. Some say this, and *others* say that. No contradiction at all.
I never use third-party programs other than Runelite (and this one only recently). I think the game should not be as easy as Leagues, because they have different pace: Leagues are a short run for a month, the maingame is for years. If it were like Leagues, it will become boring and you would become fed up with it in half a year. FSW is like maingame, it is *not* any easier. The only difference is for competitive people: they have a chance to become #1 in something. Its a fresh start for competitiion, fresh hiscores. And also fresh economy with a separate player market. The pace is the same, slow.
On the other hand, I welcome any QoLs which remove senseless clicking, make me less like a robot and more like a person. So, I was overjoyed when some things were made auto, like cleaning herbs or enchanting jewelry.
Does all this makes me a hypocrite? I don't think so. Because for one separate person, everything is logical. Another person has different opinions, and usually they are also logical.
there's more than one person on reddit
lots of people actually don't enjoy leagues/FSW (leagues are temporary, and how is FSW relevant anyway?), and think plugins like puzzle solvers shouldn't exist
Gonna preface by saying the ops question is really dumb and doesnt belong in this thread.
Your comment just comes off as obtuse to me. Yeah, there is a variance of opinion on the sub, but his intention is clearly to address the average community member/majority opinion holder. If i told you “behind this curtain is a guy who posts on r/2007scape, what do you think his opinion on pvp is”, do you REALLY think that would be a hard question to answer? Or that one particular answer might be correct the overwhelming majority of the time?
I don't think you can just "average" everyone's opinion together and make any meaningful conclusion from that
like yeah, sure, average 1500 total timmy redditor loves leagues and wants tons of ezscape buffs
that doesn't mean those timmies are the people who are against puzzle solver plugins and overpowered new content
this guy's basically just strawmanning a bunch of different opinions into one person and acting like most people believe conflicting things
You absolutely can average opinions together and make meaningful conclusions. Much of the political infrastructure of the world is built on that concept. That’s literally why we poll certain groups to get general information on what they want.
If you’re denying you can do that, you’re just being obtuse, treating obviously answerable questions as if they’re unknowable.
yes and if you did that, you wouldn't find that the majority of this sub "hates ezscape" like this guy is claiming
he's pointing to like 10% of people who hold that opinion and rolling them in with the 90% of casual players who want fast progression. the whole thing is based on a bs claim that "average" redditors don't want ezscape
again you can't just pick any two opinions you see and pretend most people believe both lol
Sure. So the premise is flawed. The OP’s comment is dumb. But you took the angle that this sub was made up of individuals, which has nothing to do with challenging the the premise.
And then when i pressed you on it, you said that “you cant just average out a bunch of opinions”.
It seems we agree that OP’s comment is dumb. I just think your comments were too, lol.
fair enough
poor choice of words I guess, what I meant by "averaging opinions" is just slapping together any two statements and pretending they're made by the same person. not actually sampling the masses and getting a consensus
I still think the sub being individuals challenges his claim just fine - because it mostly isn't the same people believing the things he says
idk, I don't really care enough to have a long form discussion about a dumb loaded question on reddit lol
Yeah im tired of challenging it, kinda was an autistic thing to press, i just disagree with the majority opinions on this sub and that particular criticism is a bit of a pet peeve
I have a black demon task on the iron gonna get me a zenyte gl
> Why do y’all hate “ezscape” despite the fact that everyone loves Leagues
You know those are limited modes
> heavily rely on third-party programs
And people argue about that constantly. Some plugins are considered fine and only QoL updates while some argue that some cross the line. It’s not some monolithic view.

King condor This guy shows you a basic run through in entry level gear and shows that you can just send it. As a bonus he is also entertaining.
Watch a full TOA guide all the way through. Then try some raids and watch additional guides on any part that you die at.

is the new accursed sceptre supposed to turn into Thammaron's sceptre when you die unskulled?
I messed up and bought a second smith's tunic at foundry. Any way I can sell it back or use it for anything or am I just out of luck?
Not yet but they just polled being able to sell it back so hopefully in the future you will be able to
Okay, thanks!
Venator with masori vs Bowfa with crystal. Which is better?
Just bought crystal set with bowfa, and that thing shreds at raids and most bosses. Bowfa ftw

They just looked at they got a 1 day ban for botting too. But I know for a fact they didn’t bot. Does that change anything?
Nope. They just got hacked and had the account repurposed for botting until the ban. So they'd just need to get the account back and set up all the security on it and it should be safe.
How do I set up the shift -click to walk under for OK'ing? Menu entry swapper works for PVM but not on other players
Pretty sure it's specifically disabled for pvp.
Awesome, thanks.
Should I buy guthans for more afk slayer or just keep using ppots? 70s combat skills and 45 slayer Edit:have 75 prayer, just to be clear I'm looking for the most afk, not low intensity or cheapest but literally click, walk away and come back in 8-10 mins
Only place I use Guthans really is Gargs.
Blood fury > Samguenesti staff > Guthans For healing gear. I'd recommend blood fury a lot but it is very expensive to use. Your best bet is just determining which monsters you can tank and use food for, and which ones you have to pray against
Guthans sucks. Prayer and cannonballs are a much more worthwhile buy
guthans is oppressively dogshit, you will be losing multiple hours per task by using it
I need a new strength weapon and I'm interested in the Voidwaker solely because of the fact that I got a Korasi's sword back in the day.
The voidwaker is 400m I would not recommend it as a training weapon
Oh Jesus Christ I was just looking at the GE price on the wiki not the actual data. Guess it's a blessed sara sword for me.
I'm doing some GoTR on mobile and was wondering if there's an easier way to empty pouches? Filling is one click, but to empty I'm needing to hold and click empty individually. Cheers!
There's a setting called "tap to drop" that makes the tap option on rune pouches empty
Oh really? But I'd like the tap option to he fill too, and then empty once it's full heh.. Guess thats asking a bit much!
You can set the function button to turn on tap to drop, so you can quickly turn tap to drop on and off.
Yeah it’s 100% if they are effected by a mark of darkness. Not sure about second part.
Hitting 52s in full dhide? I think I might have found my new wildy slayer weapon lmao
Accursed Scorpier !
The wiki says this about extended super antifire potion: https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Extended_super_antifire#4_dose but then there is also this table: https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Dragonfire I'm trying to figure out what potion to use for vorkath.
But when you combine it with your other factors as seen in the table, you'll take 0 damage.
awesome! thanks, extended it is :) cheaper and longer
You can practice in speed run worlds, need to do beneath cursed sands as you start with a fire cape so can access the Jad challenge.
if i finish the hard tier CAs, is the points i get refunded for un-imbuing my rings at NMZ 80% of the new 50% imbue cost or 80% of the original cost? And if i don't un-imbue BEFORE finishing the hard tier but rather AFTER finishing, i will LOSE points rather than gain FREE points? Example: Spent 650k to imbue berserker -> um-imbue and get refunded 520k -> finish hard CA then re-imbue for 325k. Profit 195k Spent 650k -> finish hard CA -> uminbie and get refunded 260k = LOSS of more points than if i um-imbue before finishing hards? is that how it works?
>Spent 650k to imbue berserker -> um-imbue and get refunded 520k -> finish hard CA then re-imbue for 325k. Profit 195k this is what happens
what if i um-imbued after finishing the CA tier? only get 260k points back despite originally paying 650k (pre-CA)?
If you've completed the tier you get 40% of the original price/ 80% of the new price, regardless of what you paid originally.

They do normally drop their ore there. Maybe you were out of render distance for the dropped items?
If they saw the characters - wouln't they also see the drops?
Not necessary. I'm pretty sure it's trunksted on my mobile settings because I can't see shit on the floor pretty often. I did a party room event once and it was pretty impossible to see things on the other side of the room. On PC you're probably right.
What's a relatively cost-efficient and AFK way to get up range from 70-80? I'm a low/mid stage account so don't have a lot of money to throw at this. What wep/arrows should I be using?
For afk, you can try [nightmare zone](https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Nightmare_Zone/Strategies) with magic shortbow & rune arrows
Chompy bird hunting for 100 hours
Adamant darts on sand/swamp/ammonite crabs are pretty cost effective, but you can downgrade to mith darts if you're *really* on a budget. Don't forget to use an accumulator Can also do nmz or pest control if you rather go that route
Thanks so much! Really appreciate your response.
if youre actually poor just kill dragons bro its good range exp probly easily 1m an hour gp
Karis without gem is always better than hasta at kephri. That being said, hasta is absolutely good enough up to at least the 300 range.
It's a decent upgrade that'll get you faster Kephri kills, but being useful only in one encounter, it's fine to drop for inventory space
need? no.
For entries you can atleast just use the hasta.
Ok cool i think im just gonna be doing easy's for awhile anyways so hopefully I'll get a crystal by the time i start attempting normal mode, thanks man
Is NMZ still best for imbuning? I’m max combat but need to imbune a ring, so didnt know if nmz was still the best option?
NMZ is the worst for imbuing. Spend those points on imbuing a salve amulet for the diary and then scrolls of redirection for farm runs. Best is cheesing the duel arena tourments and soul wars is also good.
I did the pvp arena. A loss still gives points, and you don't need to lose that many times to get the imbues. If you happen to get a win, you get a little boost, but, I only won like 2 or 3 times when I got my slayer helm imbune and it was way quicker than any other method.
What is this pvp arena method? Didnt even know you could get points for imbues there??
My bank: https://imgur.com/f9PydAy.jpg Goal is to hit 70 from 60 and I don't think I'll have an issue there.
I just wanted to point out that you can put your 5 miscellania workers from royal trouble onto coal to get more coal as needed.
>You'll lose a significant amount of xp if you go bars -> armor -> foundry instead of bars -> foundry Is this true?
How do you determine "high defense" for monsters. When should I use fang or tentacle for slayer?
Easiest way is to plug it into a DPS calculator (there are a few online, from spreadsheets to actual online applets, and even a runelite plugin) Or you can just use your best judgement and send it. Doubt it'd add up to more than a couple minutes per task
Can me and a friend kill Spindel, arto, and calvarion at the same time or are they solo only?
Vet’ion isn’t much harder than Calvarion. Obviously he’s in multi though but I’ve solo’d both of those and never had a pker crash me at vetion. The problem with Vet’ion was getting away for me because you’d run into groups in the escape caves or the multi zone above ground. It is the weekend now though so both might be packed.
Alright thanks. High chance we get pkd tonight but oh well we want to at least give it a shot X)
They're in singles plus, so only one of you will be able to attack the boss at each time You could alternate, I guess, but not a lot of point in that
Alright thanks for the info
Farming/birdhouse alternatives? Hi guys, I am looking for farming/birdhouse alternatives, to train a skill or hunt a pet. Since I am not able to play for long periods of time, it is hard to start slayer tasks, or grind a skill. I am able to log in a few times during the day via mobile. I am looking for like hourly/daily tasks, bosses or events, to train a skill or hunt a pet. Since I don’t need money, xp is the most important for me. I already grinded out 99 farming and I am on my for 99 hunting. Please let me know your ideas or tips! Cheers
A few thoughts for dailies / 'burstable' xp: -hespori -shayzien contracts -stealing artifacts -bursting/chinning and just stay set up when you have to log so when you log back in you can get right back to it -skilling bosses Hope these ideas help!
~~I've been doing farming lately. Herb runs can be >done every 80 minutes, tree runs every few jours depends on tree), fruit trees every 16 hours. Herbs are a good money maker, trees are great xp. Tree runs and herb runs take between 5-15 minutes depending on locations and effiency~~ Edit: disregard, apparently can't read. Just saw birdhouse
Bro can you even read lol
I am confused by your initial wording as well. Are you looking for interim tasks that gain XP every few hours, or repetitive training methods that are consistent XP in a short burst of time?
Haha yes interim tasks to gain xp every few hours. Tasks/bosses with long reset timers but nice xp.
I’m not OP
Damn he really can't read.
Welcome to Reddit where everyone is an expert and nobody reads the OP
My brain ignored the very first word haha
All good homie I just couldn’t ignore the unintentional hilarity. You were just trying to be helpful!
What's up with mods approving my post then removing it once it started gaining some traction? Tried reaching out already to ask but no response. You can check my account to see what the post was. [I also posted everything on my account so it can't be removed](https://www.reddit.com/r/u_FancyJesse/comments/10mv6ji/osrs_2100_total_acc_rwt_minor_appeal_denied_after)
Not allowed to post for appeals. Maybe one mod thought it was okay and a different one didn't and vetoed that decision
What's the highest possibility the new skill we be
Is there a recommended site where we can import tile markers from other players for pvm, sepulchre, and raids?
think it’s called rune markers or something. otherwise the boss discord should have them too
While we’re on the subject — does anyone have a tile markers export of all the single/multi lines in the wilderness?
Trying to pvm on a limited pking account just sucks tbh. I would recommend having a main first and then make pk accounts that only pk
Personally, I would make a main before making a low defense pvp build. It will restrict the content you will have access to and make learning the mechanic more difficult. Just play LMS until you get your stats up enough to pvp other maxed mains.
Is there a generally accepted order for upgrading to Zenyte jewelry? Which ones are viewed as the most important to get?
Torture and anguish will cover 90% of what you do until you don’t have to worry about the money for zenytes
If you’re planning on doing any zulrah: Suffering>Anguish>bracelet>torture If you’re not doing zulrah: Anguish>bracelet>torture>suffering Torture is better if you melee alot, but +2 str bonus doesnt mean that much.
> Why do y’all When many people say this and many people say that and these two things contradict - its a temptation to say they are hypocritical, or just idiots.
[удалено]
What does that even mean? Jagex released 3 raids?
there's more than one person on reddit lots of people actually don't enjoy leagues/FSW (leagues are temporary, and how is FSW relevant anyway?), and think plugins like puzzle solvers shouldn't exist
I don't think you can just "average" everyone's opinion together and make any meaningful conclusion from that like yeah, sure, average 1500 total timmy redditor loves leagues and wants tons of ezscape buffs that doesn't mean those timmies are the people who are against puzzle solver plugins and overpowered new content this guy's basically just strawmanning a bunch of different opinions into one person and acting like most people believe conflicting things
You absolutely can average opinions together and make meaningful conclusions. Much of the political infrastructure of the world is built on that concept. That’s literally why we poll certain groups to get general information on what they want. If you’re denying you can do that, you’re just being obtuse, treating obviously answerable questions as if they’re unknowable.
yes and if you did that, you wouldn't find that the majority of this sub "hates ezscape" like this guy is claiming he's pointing to like 10% of people who hold that opinion and rolling them in with the 90% of casual players who want fast progression. the whole thing is based on a bs claim that "average" redditors don't want ezscape again you can't just pick any two opinions you see and pretend most people believe both lol
I just think your comments were too, lol.
fair enough poor choice of words I guess, what I meant by "averaging opinions" is just slapping together any two statements and pretending they're made by the same person. not actually sampling the masses and getting a consensus I still think the sub being individuals challenges his claim just fine - because it mostly isn't the same people believing the things he says idk, I don't really care enough to have a long form discussion about a dumb loaded question on reddit lol
Yeah im tired of challenging it, kinda was an autistic thing to press, i just disagree with the majority opinions on this sub and that particular criticism is a bit of a pet peeve I have a black demon task on the iron gonna get me a zenyte gl
> Why do y’all hate “ezscape” despite the fact that everyone loves Leagues You know those are limited modes > heavily rely on third-party programs And people argue about that constantly. Some plugins are considered fine and only QoL updates while some argue that some cross the line. It’s not some monolithic view.
