Sony’s E3 2016 Press Event Loaded With Awesome Games

The most important gaming event of the year starts today, and we’re beginning to see some awesome trailers and here more details about great upcoming video games. For those not as familiar with the gaming industry, E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) is an annual event where game developers and publishers introduce, tease and advertise upcoming games and game-related merchandise. First held in 1995, this year’s E3 in the 22nd consecutive expo. And although the Expo officially starts today, the press releases, trailers and details started rolling in a few days prior, such as with Sony’s E3 2016 press event, where the revealed a bunch of cool trailers and details. So, let’s get to the good stuff.

Resident Evil 7 Trailer

The trailer for Resident Evil 7, being developed to be fully compatible with the upcoming PlayStation VR (due out in October this year), made its debut, and it promises to bring the scares. The seventh game in the franchise is scheduled for release January 24th, 2017.

Death Stranding Trailer

Hideo Kojima made THE grand entrance of the event, entering on a digital staircase that lit up as he descended each step. And the game he presented? More than a little strange. Digital and scarred Norman Reedus, naked, handcuffed, in an alien environment, and holding a baby … which then disappears. Strange indeed, but this is Kojima (Metal Gear), so we’re very hopeful for this one. Check out the entrance, and trailer for yourself.

Spider-Man Trailer

Sony’s has acquired the rights to a new Spider-Man game, and is working to develop it with Insomniac Games, the studio behind Ratchet and Clank and Sunset Overdrive. The trailer features some impressive animation, especially when it comes to the web-slinging.

Days Gone Trailer

Developer Bend Studio’s newest game, titled Days Gone, also got a trailer, showcasing the game’s incredible open environments. The game follows Deacon St. John, a drifter and bounty hunter fighting to survive two years after a global pandemic.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare

We’re getting pretty excited for this game, especially after the recent announcement of Kit Harrington as the villain. The E3 gameplay trailer promises some epic sci-fi first person action come November 4th.

Surely, Sony’s E3 2016 press event has provided us with enough sci-fi gaming goodness to keep us all going for a while. Wait, what’s that?  You could use some more?  Well, OK.  This one isn’t Sony, but we’re also pretty stoked for the upcoming Prey sequel/reimaging, coming from Bethesda and Arkane Studios.

So, which of these games are you most looking forward to?

I will buy the spiderman game definitely, and That costume with the white Logo is awesome. It ranks up there with the Top 3, those being The Original, Venom symbiote, and 2099. Hate Miles Morales costume, I might be the odd man out but that thing is Hideous and I love the color black.
