A new official photo of Benedict Cumberbatch as Marvel’s superhero Doctor Strange has just been released, and he is looking (pardon the pun) magical! In the picture, released through photographer Michael Muller’s site, we can see Stephen Strange clad in blue-crimson robes, wearing a giant golden magical amulet around his neck, and preparing to cast some fantastic spell. Be sure not to miss the movie, which will hit the screens on November 4, 2016. You only have to wait for 7 months, which should go by in no time.

Doctor Strange, created by artist Steve Ditko in 1963, is a former doctor who now serves as the Sorcerer Supreme, the primary protector of Earth against magical and mystical threats. He used to be a selfish doctor, concerned only about his wealth, until he had a car accident that crushed his hands, thus stopping him from continuing his career. He soon finds the Ancient One and becomes his apprentice, under the condition that he become good and change his ways. The comics follow his battle with all the forces wanting to harm his mother planet.

Don’t forget, the first Doctor Strange trailer will debut on April 12th, during ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, so stay tuned!
